Andrew is a graduate of Oxford University and a Chartered Accountant. For 30 years he had an executive career largely in retail holding positions such as Finance Director and Chief Executive for well-known brands such as Selfridges, Mothercare and Co-operative Retail Services.
Since 2006 Andrew has held a portfolio of Chairmanships and Non-Executive Directorships across commercial, public and charity sectors including GHD, Fortnum & Mason and Myton Hospice.
Currently, he is the Chairman of Ramsdens Holdings Plc., UHCW NHS Trust, Mayday Trust and the Coventry Cathedral Council; and is deputy chair of the Board of Governors at Coventry University.
Possessing the key skills and experience you’d expect from a successful senior executive and Chair, Andrew also has the advantage of having been on boards in a variety of ownership structures: Private Equity, Plc., AIM, Family owned, Foreign owned (USA), Co-operative, Charity and NHS.
