Karen is the founder and Managing Director of Space2BE. She is also a highly experienced and qualified senior executive coach, coach / consultant supervisor and C-Suite Advisor. Her depth of experience in culture change, strategy and leadership development, high performing teams and organisation and talent management enables her to strategically join the dots whilst pragmatically understanding what effective strategic execution requires.
Prior to consulting, Karen worked in-house for global organisations including; British Aerospace, Coats Viyella and Diageo, performing a variety of senior HR and management development roles. Consulting since 2003, her client list includes Aldi, AMEX, Clear Channel, Credit Suisse First Boston Bank, Diageo, Greene King, Kingfisher, KPMG, Marks & Spencer, Ramboll UK, Sony Music, second tier suppliers such as Sigma Aerospace and numerous public sector organisations.
Karen has an MSc in Executive Coaching from Ashridge Business School, an MBA from Durham University, a BA (Hons) in Business Studies, is an accredited coach from Ashridge, a fellow member of the CIPD, is an Ashridge accredited Supervisor of Executive Coaches and OD practitioners and has a post graduate diploma in OD, Advanced Executive Coaching and a certificate in Relational Organisational Gestalt. She is also a member of the British Psychological Society, qualified in numerous psychometric profiling tools, and has trained for two years at Masters level in transactional analysis (psychotherapy).
When not working, Karen is happiest doing yoga, sailing, creating special times with family and friends, or planning her next travelling trip.
